An excellent dinner at the Clove Club in London- finished off with a dessert that explodes with 2 parts Fernet Branca and 1 part Briottet Liquor de Menthe. Wow. — 7 years ago
One of my favourite gins on the market. Perfect for a G&T with Fever-tree and grapefruit as the garnish. — 9 years ago

First try in Gordon Ramsay's London House at Tst East. Very fruity and chill under Typhoon 3! — 11 years ago
Oh my god! What a wonderful dessert wine.
Burnt orange color with a copper hue and a pale yellow/orange rim. Color in the bottle is more brown than orange.
Immensely strong nose of curry, indian spices (as if you walked into an Indian restaurant), cinnamon, coffee, brandy, orange peel, tumurac, raisins, figs and dates.
Extremely smooth and soft on the palate, with figs, raisins, dates, coffee, sweet candy, citrus and sweet cherries.
Sweet, Full bodied, bold and buttery with great legs. It actually tastes like a liquor would, without the alcohol burn.
Long finish with a trace of brandy.
17% alcohol.
The high acidity makes this sweet dessert wine, very balanced and non cloying.
Poured from a 375ml bottle.
This is a non vintage bottle, but I held it for 8 years in my cellar, and boy does it show... — 11 years ago

Nose: Higher level of complexity here, warm and spicy feeling, black berries, raspberries first, then a bit of gooseberry, green herbal notes, cherry liquor, cedar. Intense and penetrant to the nose.
Palate: Quite light with good astringency. Subtle and delicate flavours – not too bold. Nice texture, silky but not heavy.

Delicate nose, cranberry & early ripened cherries with a long, juicy finish. Part of Tutto Wines Winter Party in a certain part of East London we don't venture to very often any more. Amazing vibes, perfect soundtrack to a Sunday evening with homies. — 11 years ago
On an absolute roll here, wines from The Laughing Heart in east London, another delicious rosé/light red that’s right up my alley ❤️ — 5 years ago
The ‘Loess Vineyard’ was planted to Bordeaux varietals nearly 20 years ago just due east of the winery. Weighing in at 14.7% alcohol, layers of toasty oak aromatics are woven together with violets, Turkish coffee and shades of huckleberry liquor on this gorgeous nose. The palate is fresh and impeccably balanced. Ripe dark cherries combine with cigar ash, Turkish coffee and shades of blueberry compote on this deep and luxuriously textured wine. Sinfully good to enjoy in its hedonistic youth, the 2017 ‘Loess Vineyard’ Cabernet Sauvignon will enjoy drinking enjoyment for many decades to come. Be sure to give this a long decant if enjoying in its nascent phase. Drink 2020-2040- 96 — 6 years ago

Rating is for the Rascal, brewed with ginger. Delicious, reminded me of a light pumpkin beer because of the spiced ginger. — 9 years ago
Great gin, best enjoyed with soda water and a slice of pink grapefruit — 9 years ago

Another fine beer from ELB. This time a sweet and pretty light porter. Little hint of vanilla. Very good stuff and at under 4% very drinkable. — 11 years ago

Really like this. A modern tasting London Dry gin. Traditional but fresh tasting. A must for my liquor cabinet and decent price too. — 4 years ago
