Great wine, Elizabeth was spot on. — 11 years ago
Drank part I with Chicken Cordon blue and part II with cheese ravioli in leftover meatball red sauce. Both paired well but surprisingly better with the ravioli given the salty acidity of the sauce and lightness of the mozzarella filling. Will definitely buy more from Wine Therapy on Elizabeth! — 5 years ago
Delicious and well balanced between the sweet white grape, white nectarine flavor and the acidity. Perfect for after dinner, would but this again. — 11 years ago
Really like this one. Smoky, little earthy. — 5 years ago
Bright red fruit, leather, gamey with a long mineral finish. Love this wine. — 7 years ago

The label also says “Le Mourre de la Caille,” but I’m not sure if that’s just a motto for the domaine or it’s a different cuvée. It’s a 70/20/10 GSM. Only 14% alcohol. The nose is invitingly fruity, with deep spicy dark berry fruit and a little of the old time Southern Rhone iodiney minerality. Mouthfilling, with deeply fruity, low-toned dark berry fruity and savory flavors. It’s ripe but not too ripe or jammy. And there’s quite a bit of soft tannin buried under the fruit-alanche. I really like this. — 2 months ago
