Oh yeah. Nice one that’s almost twenty years old! All the aged Chablis tend not to smack you in the face as when young. — 23 days ago

100% Chardonnay expressing the the distinctive soils of the region (Kimmeridgian Limestone), the vineyard is located in the northern of Chablis appellation. The finesse of this wine is the result of a traditional winemaking with fermentation with indigenous yeast in stainless-steel vats to keep the minerality at the highest possible level while preserving the purity and integrity of the fruit. Incredibly refreshing, sliced green apples, persistent balanced-tart, a sublet touch of kumquats, and crazy clean finish. — 10 months ago

Text book Chablis with chalk and crushed oyster shells on the nose. A tiny bit of gun powder and lemon too
A very well balanced palate with a strong acid drive and a nice lemon note all along, and almost tropical fruits notes too. A long citrusy finish close it up in a very fresh fashion. It was served with oysters, shrimps, see snails and smoked trout. Perfect pairing — 5 years ago
Open and a touch tropical on the nose with underlying minerality and a whiff of celery. Solid — 10 years ago

Saint-Bris “Chenevières” Sauvignon Blanc 2022
Chablis, Burgundy, France
Saint-Bris AOC is the only appellation in Burgundy where Sauvignon Blanc is grown—a rare and delightful exception. This 100% Sauvignon Blanc comes from the northern edge of Chablis, in La Chapelle Vaupelteigne, producing compact golden berries with thick skins and soft, flavorful flesh.
Fermented with indigenous yeasts in stainless steel, it captures vibrant freshness, crisp minerality, and pure fruit expression. Expect lively citrus, subtle white flowers, and a clean, zesty finish that’s dry, light, and thoroughly refreshing.
A Burgundian twist on Sancerre, marrying Sauvignon’s aromatic lift with Chablis’s famed chalky terroir. With its remarkable value, it’s impossible not to make this a daily sipper and a casual entertaining go-to.
Cheers! 🥂 — 12 days ago
