This bargain Sangiovese is a lightweight wine with an appealing nose and palate. Aromas of cherry and raspberry are fresh and cheery. The red fruit flavors are bright and natural, owing to stainless steel vinification and aging. No oak. The finish pales quickly, but it’s an enjoyable sip. — 7 years ago

Fruity and rather complex. Our first Christmas wine. Long lasting and smooth ending. Best served well decanted. Sweet fruits and liquorice in your nose — 6 years ago

Cool label. Pretty blue. Dark color. Smells lovely. Tamari and berry. Flavors are ripe and nice. Bright. Berry. Hint of smoke and campfire. Jammy-ness notes are a bit lower. Complexity is high. Just a nice red and a nice Primitivo. — 5 months ago
