This was pretty damn good. Stood up well in terms of concentration and depth against the Gramenon I had the night before (this was from memory of course). I guess pairing it with one of the best beef short ribs I've ever eaten does not help to keep it unbiased. — 9 years ago
So dark. But such great acidity and lightness. Violet, blackberry, Rosemary, basil, mint. Soft and lively acidity. Dances in the mouth. Eating with leftover Greek style chicken. Just omg. — 10 years ago
Another winner from the deep cellar! Clear edges and lots of sediment on a quick decant. Earthy and savory … no fruit but plenty of intrigue. Probably around $15 at release and in my cellar since. Wonderful cork also. — 2 years ago

Opened directly into decanter....but stole a first sip - bright cherry and pretty intense menthol out of the gate - felt illegal so waited and hour for second sip, which still had the cherry but menthol turns to soap, just overly intensely perfumed. Waited four hours. Super soft earth and delicate fruit, gorgeous with a pork shoulder. Demure, even coy - you have to keep finding it. — 6 years ago

Crazy good albeit a little ripe, exudes character. Lots of Scortched earth, charcoal and camphor, complimented by dark berry and winter spices. Truly great and hard to believe I bought recently for under $40. I’ve had the current vintage and it reminds me of either gramenon (kermit) or domaine du mas blanc (colliure). Dark rubi robe, nose of kirsch, flowers, mint and tangerine notes. Fine tannins, good acidity and balance, dense, garrigue and other spices notes. Its delicious now but should be much better in 5 years. This is great stuff for the price. — 9 months ago
