This is a beautiful wine from Ribera Del Duero. Soft and smooth. Elegant and rich.

Ruby in color with a wide reddish rim.

Medium plus in body and dry on the palate, with medium acidity.

Showing black currants, plums, cooked cherries, spices and light oak.

Long finish with fine grained tannins and tangy raspberries.

This 7 year old Tempranillo is delicious now.

Needs a couple of hours to open up properly, and will continue to age nicely in the next 10 years.

100% Tempranillo grapes were aged in French and American oak barrels for 24 months.

14% alcohol by volume.

Now this is interesting. Alice Feiring club wine and I love it - from Chile, Pais varietal@12% abv + 2018 = fab wine. 18 months until bottle time. Whole cluster, French oak for malo. Organic with minimal SO2 for those who care. — 5 years ago

Needs a day or very thorough decanting to show best. Sour cherry, berry stem and a touch of Indian spices on the nose. Sour, almost limoncello like initially on the tongue, followed by stone fruit and a touch of rosemary. The limoncello and rosemary give it a sense of heat, although it's only 13.5abv. This is chorizo and olives' natural tango partner. — 8 years ago
