A little green in flavor (as in unripe), too acidic, but had some elements of tropical fruit, just not full and ripe. Has potential but not the best. — 2 years ago
Must have been a hole in the bottle, it emptied way too fast. — 3 years ago
Enjoyed in Athens. Paired well with grill feta and roasted lamb. — 2 years ago
Atypical Napa Zinfandel, from vineyards on Mount Veeder. Beautiful, complex nose with aromas of dark fruit and a hint of eucalyptus. Medium bodied, balanced, very restrained. And it tastes like cherry cola! (but not like the cheap Champagne in the Kinks’ song Lola). Not jammy at all — 3 years ago

Bizot tasting & lunch. Flight 1
Very rare with tiny production. Whole cluster with 100% new oak. When you taste these wines you can see why they have such high demand almost impossible to find & pricing is sky high. The 18’s were open & seemed ready showing beautiful red cherry, berry fruits showing purity & transparency with Leroy like spice & floral notes. Everything is in perfect balance. The 2020 will also be a great vintage

Phenomenal wine. Auction wine. Found at a small restaurant hole in a wall. A little lucky but absolutely delicious — 3 months ago
