Ich war einfach brutal neugierig. Noch nie hab‘ich einen Retsina getrunken…warum sollte ich auch? Der rest der welt macht auch coole weine. Allerdings eine sendung eines MW bei der Degu dieses weines gesehen und wie er ihn bewertet hat. Ok…dann bestell ich mal 2 flaschen. WOW!! Das hab ich echt nicht erwartet. Kein hauch von süsse. Eher als zwitter zwischen sherry und orange angesiedelt. Orangenschalen, kernobst, weiss-bis gelbblütig, hauch mandeln, tief, lang, komplex. Immer auf der leicht animalischen seite…aber eben…kein orange. Irgendwas dazwischen. Und verdammt gut. Zum preis von knapp 25 euro!! — 3 days ago

Entry level, affordable nebbiolo! Perfect starting point to explore this wonderful grape from a traditional producer. Forrest soil, dried leaves, black tea, floral notes and a hint of red fruit! Great complexity at a low price.

Toller nebbiolo zu einem sehr günstigen preis (knapp über 10 euro). Haben wir derzeit leider nicht in unserem sortiment...empfehlen euch den wein trotzdem, wenn ihr das echte, alte italien im glas haben möchtet!

Pasta White blend was a "dry" white that is fantastic with pasta. From the finger lakes which has wines in the sweeter side of things. It was delicious with tastes of apple with a dry but delicious after taste making a forkful of pasta that much more delectable — 6 years ago

Yum! Why haven’t we been enjoying Siegerrebe the whole time? What is it? As it turns out, this grape is a cross between Gewurtraminer and Madeleine Angevine from the early 20th century Germany. Nowadays, it’s primarily grown only in Canada and Upstate NY. Playful and off-dry without being too sweet, it’s a fun quaff that I recommend if you can find it. This will also pair well with spicy foods. — 8 years ago

Sweet, rich nose full of peach, pineapple, apricot and a hint of spice. Smooth, full and sweet on the palate. Sweet, thick, stone fruit and honey flavors are balanced by enough acidity to keep this ice wine from being too cloying. The finish is long and smooth and sweet. — 11 years ago

Neither Knapp nor Gertz is my favorite go to but this Dry version is exceptional. Lots of pear and green apple on the nose - minerality and crisp acid followed by some lingering bitterness that you don’t expect but really makes this special. — 6 years ago
