Enjoying this way too much to write thorough notes. Creamed corn, golden delicious apple (fresh and dried), beeswax, chamomile, hay. flinty , saline finish. Fresh AF for an ‘06. Don’t want it to end. Had one of those food and wine pairing serendipity moments having this wine alongside maitake tempura in a ponzu dipping sauce where everything just clicked 🤯! — 5 years ago
This is a beautifully balanced and well integrated Syrah. Begins with dark fruits; black currants, plums, cassis, blackberry. This is followed by silky tannins and a black pepper spice that fills the back of the palate without overpowering the dark fruits. As a note, the 2013 vintage has a stronger presence of spice compared to the 2010. — 7 years ago

Serendipity is located on the Naramata bench in BC, producing several high quality lines. This one is no exception, absolutely delicious! Dark burgundy colour, almost black. Medium bodied. Tasteful dark fruit, plums, and cassis. Well blended and structured as you would expect. — 8 years ago

Love me some Mendocino County Pinot Noir. Damp forest floor, pennyroyal, baked cherries. A low intervention wine from own rooted vines. I was going to pour the rest of this wine out after being forgetful and leaving it out for 4 days, but it was still so fresh and gorgeous that I had to pour myself the last glass to celebrate the serendipity and solid winemaking. — 6 years ago
Nice smooth taste little heavier with a hint of oak. — 6 years ago
Delicious blend of 70 Barbera, 10 Malbec, 10 Sangio and a helping of Viognier. — 7 years ago
Love this wine. I am not usually a big fan of viognier, but this one is amazing. It is on the drier side if that is your preference. As a Canadian I love to support local as the winery is located in the beautiful Naramata, BC. — 8 years ago

So, crazy thing happened. I’m in Corvallis for work flying home tomorrow am and got done way early. Driving up to PDX and there are wineries on the way! Is this Serendipity? 😀🍷 I’m a Willamette Pinot newbie. This was my favorite of the bunch. Overall they feel like more green, acidic, structured, and tart than Sonoma / Burgundy. Am I in the neighborhood or way too limited for the generalizations? — 4 years ago
Magical elixir-level stuff. I was actually shocked at how beautiful this was when I opened the bottle, even compared to the previous three I’ve enjoyed over the years. Sometimes you catch a great bottle of a great wine at just the right time, I guess.
The nose has just-mashed apples, honey, acacia, pressed yellow flowers, raspberries, and about a dozen different florals I can’t even begin to identify. Yellow raspberry coulis on the palate. Palate is close to perfection- satiny, seductive and ever so slightly sweet. Pairing with lobster was real serendipity, but I imagine you could just ogle over this on its own too. Saddened only that this is my last bottle. — 6 years ago

Amazing sparkling wine! Enjoyed some during a day at the pool with my sweetheart. Perfect! — 7 years ago

Spice on the nose, age shows in blunting of color, first taste is a surprising dark cherry followed by a nice pucker and late tannins. For having low expectations, this feels like serendipity. — 8 years ago
