Muni - Second to None from The Sake Lab (Nagano). The menu has it as a Daiginjo but since the polish rate is undisclosed, I’m not sure they can really say that and it does not on the website. Supposedly - MUNI has a luscious savory melon flavor with a touch of blueberry and pineapple. Its silky smoothness melts in the mouth. I get melon and would agree it’s silky but someone got a bit fluffy on the translation for the rest of this. — 2 years ago

This has some of the red fruit that I would expect, but not as much as other cab francs I’ve had. This does have nice stony minerality, and a lot of black pepper. Medium bodied with medium-ish puckery tannins. This bottle was a great value at Trader Joe’s. — 9 years ago
