Use to be my fav until having Mailly Grand Cru. It's an unfair comparison, as these two are very different champagnes. I enjoy Moet and appreciate the full flavor and sharp taste. However I'm not sure this will remain my go to. — 3 years ago
Excellent! Clearly Chardonnay, lemon curd, almonds, a berry cream. Palate is big and then ends with a cleansing finish of tart apple, citrus, and saline. So balanced. I really can’t see many people complaining about this one. — 4 years ago
The Mailly Grand Cru L’Intemporelle Champagne offers a blend of 60% Pinot Noir & 40% Chardonnay, comes in Limited Edition and Numbered White Bottles.
A timeless expression of elegance and finesse, L’Intemporelle is a Champagne that whispers luxury from the first pour.
On the nose:
Delicate floral aromas unfold, interwoven with juicy white fruits, zesty citrus, and a hint of spring-like freshness. These elements dance over a base that hints at the vintage’s quiet maturity, offering depth without heaviness.
On the palate:
A creamy mousse introduces a silky texture, leading into vibrant citrus notes that stretch through to a mineral-driven, chalky, saline finish. The Brut dosage of 6–7 g/L provides perfect balance, enhancing both clarity and roundness.
Mouthfeel & Food Pairing:
Refined and expressive, this Champagne is as comfortable elevating a buffet-style dinner as it is paired with a sit-down gourmet meal. It shines alongside roasted scallops, salt-crusted Chilean sea bass, or a delicate sashimi and other seafood delicacies.
Final Thought:

Salmon coloration. Very pretty. On the nose, apple, pear and yeast. On the palate, apple, pear and yeast. Nice long finish, with hints of citrus/lemon. A bit of creaminess too it as well on the palate. Quite nice. — 4 years ago
Killer Champagne! 50/50 blend of Chardonnay from Taissy and Pinot Noir out of Mailly. Dégorgement 07/21. 9 years old, bit oxi but also very fresh. On the nose a bit of port, raspberry yoghurt / danoontje, almonds, lemonrind and great minerality. — a year ago
This 2000 spent an incredible 15 years on lees. Bottled in 2017. This cuvée is roughly 2/3 Pinot Noir and 1/3 Chardonnay. Pinot Noir is from the Montagne de Reims - Mailly, Cumières and Vertus. 35% Chardonnay in from the Côte des Blancs (the best region for Chardonnay)- Le Mesnil-sur-Oger, Oger, Avize, Vertus. 10% oak.
The body is thick, heavy and creamy with that much time on lees. The fruit has settled and the complexity has arrived. Bruised apple & pear, a touch of apple cider, pineapple if it were an oil, an array of soft citrus- lemon, lime, orange peel, tangerine, ripe, juicy, yellow peach, some blackberries, marmalade, meringue, cream, malt, some caramel notes, brioche, baguette crust, sea fossils & spray, limestone marl, fine powdery chalkiness w/ speckles of grain, white spice-ginger, withering yellow flowers, excellent acidity, well knitted, perfect tension, balance and a long finish that lasts minutes. — 2 years ago
Primary at the moment. Lemon, high acid, big bubbles. Gets a little more interesting couple hours in creamy/leesy but ultimately not so pleasurable at the moment. Seems like it does have good aging ability and may be better with time. — 4 years ago

Clear straw color, delicate small bubbles. Aromas of pear, lemon and brioche. Cooked pear, lemon and biscuit on the palate. Very nice champagne!
