This is upper level Beaujolais. Depth and texture in spades. Nose has perfectly ripe dark cherries and berries. Spice and crushed granite in the background, and a fresh-baked bread-like note. Deeply flavored (as one might expect from 50-yr old vines), with deep fruit, acids, and stony minerality all working together. Some very fine-grained tannin provides a little chalky feel in the finish. This will last and improve a few more years but is terrific now. — 3 years ago
We liked it. Great red, drank over a Sunday evening dinner. Not too much tannins with enough fruits — 5 years ago

We've had several bottles of the Fleurie and it is often very good, complex and floral. If you haven't had a Gamay Noir in awhile this is a good place to start. — 4 years ago
Nice everyday Pinot. — 6 years ago
Light Ruby color with aromas of berry fruit, dried herbs and floral scents. On the palate flavors of raspberry and blueberry with fruit flavors, muted raspberry and sweet cherry, hints of pepper spice, great balance with acidity. Soft tannins, medium+ finish ending with toasty cedar tones, pepper spice and earthy character. An enjoyable Pinot, good now. — 2 years ago
First taste of Gamay Noir rose. Interesting blend of delicacy and vibrancy showing of strawberries and watermelon with a touch of creaminess even if not exactly complex — 3 years ago
Gorsh, this is just a delightful little weeknight drink. Costco find. — 5 years ago
Earthy at first but really opened up and now creamy and lovely. — 7 years ago

Another nice Cote du Py Morgon I tried recently, a tad more austere than some other similar examples from the region but still a nice wine for the price! — 2 months ago
