Popped and poured. The wine pours a straw color with a medium viscosity. No signs of particles or gas. On the nose, the wine displays fresh lemon, wax, and minerals. On the palate, the wine is dry with high acid. The finish is long and accompanied by the familiar saline minerals. Probably better with food but works well with a warm sunset on Milos. — 3 years ago

Another fabulous wine at Estiatorio Milos. Are you ready? Apparently the reason it’s called Quartz, is the stones in the earth absorb the sun’s heat, keeping the roots of the vines warmer during cooler night temps! Hence this delicious wine! Love learning these nuggets - pun intended — 5 years ago

Excellent example of what comes from Howell Mountain. Hard to believe this is a 13. This is a big wine. Dense and dark in the glass, complete black out. Whiffs of French roast coffee, anise, black licorice and black currant. Beautifully defined, yet pure and complex. Black berry jam jar, tobacco, hint of mocha, expresso notes fill the mouth. Fine grained tannins presents a long lasting finish that you won't forget. Exceptional bottle from @Ron Haber @timothy Milos. Thank you @Martin G Rivard for connecting me with Ron. — 10 years ago
