Made from 50% Nebbiolo, 40% Croatina, and 10% Vespolina. Light bodied with high acidity. This is a tasty red blend from Alto Piemonte. Cherry and strawberry flavors come through initially on the palate, followed by orange zest, slight hints of cinnamon and bay leaf, and a strong mineral backbone. Tasty, persistent finish. The fruit flavors are exuberant and really dominate initially. Over time the other flavors come out a bit more. This is the 2024 vintage. — 2 months ago

Banshee Wines was founded by 3 friends Noah Dorrance, Baron Ziegler, and Steve Graf who shared a lifelong dream of owning their own winery. Their first vintage of Pinot Noir, produced in 2009 was sold out in 3 months. Deep color with red berry fruit aromas and notes of sweet floral scents. On the palate ripe red plum, currant and cherry flavors with complex spice. Smooth tannins balanced well with vivid acidity, lingering ending with a mineral character. Nice value. Second up was this delicious and supple white burgundy. Pears and apple blossom combine in this texturally elegant wine. The finish is adequate if a little stilted. It should be noted that when I had this wine with an elegantly crafted canapé, both exploded with taste. Next time it will be a whole bottle with a full meal! — 8 years ago
