Omg soooo good. Had at Victoria's New Years Eve wine dinner — 4 years ago
OMG. So good! Rich and complex. Maybe too complex for my palate. Dark fruit: a plum, a blackberry. And a chocolate, a vanilla. Lots of sweet notes. It's my first syrah from California. And this is something... — 6 years ago
Omg. So good! Perfectly aged. Cherries and macerated strawberries, vivid open roses, tomato leaf, perfectly integrated fine spice notes from the finest French oak, silky smooth mouthfeel. Fresh and elegant. Amazing. Truly one of the all time best aged Cali Pinots that I’ve had. On an “off” vintage too... — 6 years ago
OMG 😮 this 2008 is amazing! Not at all oxidized. Beautiful stone fruit and white flowers on nose. Rich apricot and still good acid. Honey on the finish. Had aged extremely well! — 7 years ago
OMG so fffing yummy! Earthy, minerally, depth...kinda like a good Beujolais but not! — 8 years ago
Been two plus years and wow wow wow is this the best bottle yet. Stunning nose of chestnut, soaring minerality, deep mid season cherries but smothered with wet leaves. Also amazing fireplace aromas. The palate is a marvel. Beats the sh*t out of sooooo many Barolo and Barbaresco at much higher price points. Omg the earthy sweetness on this is insanely magical. Perfect balance and elite elite finesse. Insane inner mouth aromas. What velvety texture and insane juiciness. Perfect fruit/tannin delivery balance. Just so so incredibly epic. This estate is magic. — 3 years ago

When is a Riesling not a Riesling? When it’s baked under the sun getting a glistening tan like this one. Softness on the skins, ripe and lush and austere. Surely an odd one but thats what turns me on about winemaking decisions. It’s funny to taste this and compare it to our skin macerated Riesling. Both are weird not in the sense that there is anything bacterial about it but a sense that it’s one wacky and beautiful wine simultaneously — 6 years ago
Remarkable complexity and uniqueness mark this 2018. One thing I love about Sauvignon is it’s ability to adapt to where it is - and terroir comes flying out of this glass. Let’s start with the aromas because… omg I’m overwhelmed with an intimate old sweaty gym bag! Some petrol comes after, but it’s more subtle. Powerfully tight, like it’s poised to spring out of the glass. Tart grapefruit dominates with touches of tomato vine and other herbaceous notes. Long, strong, finish. It doesn’t sound appealing but it is. — 3 years ago

Omg yas, dark cherry tempered by leather, oak and a creaminess that almost reminds me of coconut. — 7 years ago
