A month of skin contact and a year in amphora
Mainly Procanico which is a typical variety of the Northern Lazio
The result is muscular, little tannic, with a mix of stone fruits and a remarkable mineral that gives a bonus to this very enjoyable orange wine.
As per many other macerated it showed better when a bit warmer.

The 2022 Sottobanco, a varietal Procanico, displays dried flower, crushed rocks, underbrush and apricot aromas. Textural and weighty, it’s lifted by zesty acidity and mineral tones. アプリコット、洋梨、甘い香りと、ちょっと酵母感のある香り。初めは少し微発泡して、ちょっと還元気味だけど、少し時間が経つといずれも解消。
初日はしっかりした果実味。上品な甘さなので、そんなに嫌味はない。そして、旨味。

Grechetto 50%, Procanico 40% and drupeggio verdello Malvasia 10%. On the nose, apple, peach and florals. On the palate, peach and heavy minerality. — 2 years ago
