Recently tasted 9.8.21, 7.28.21 and 6.1.21. Like the old Van Morrison album...a period of transition. Mid-palate a tad dumbed-down but the nose is clearer and airy with spearmint and tobacco. Some new cinnamon/clove infiltrating the bouquet and palate now. Still a little richness/baby fat/smoke lurking about but said intensities increasing less every time tasted. Really need to lock and key this until 2030. Good luck. — 5 years ago
Dry but with subtle apple flavour in the background — 6 years ago
Aromas of loam, plums and light tarry nuances which translate onto the medium weight palate with M+ intensity. Tell tale garrigue notes of underbrush and thyme. Soft Liqueur cherries. I think after Burgundy my favourite World Wine regions would have to be both CDP and Cote Rotie. Celebrating an unexpected win for the Coalition in the Australian Election after all the Polls and the Bookmakers were tipping a Labour win. Scott Morrison will be our Prime Minister for the next 3 years and beyond I would think. — 7 years ago

Lovely day in Morrison with the gang for our ward cody and clint show!!!
Suggestion from the gentleman at the bar.
Dry dark fruit. Tannens are very present. Definitely get the bottle, Jodi. Who drinks just a glass? — 4 years ago
Full, Bold and plush. Made from Walla Walla grapes. Ripe fruit (plums and black cherry) aromas and flavors. Hints of black pepper, black olives and baking spices. Smooth tannins. Touch of blueberry on the finish. Fruit forward but not over the top. Just a bit hot out of the bottle so decant this one a bit. — 5 years ago
Delicious with a salmon Caesar on a hot ass night on the patio with van morrison. — 6 years ago
Very quaffable. Off-dry, smooth and refreshing. Would definitely buy it again. — 7 years ago
Light red transparent tawny. Main aromas are concentrated in dried herbs, including string sage note. Red berries including cowberry, Rowan berry, cranberry. High acidity. Palette also full of red berries and herbs. — 8 years ago
A very elegant balanced wine! Rich nose ranging from red berries like rowan-berries and rose-hip to earthy aromas like wet leaves, farm, balsamic. Nice touch by flying acidity. Tannins are silky and pleasant. A great wine by a great man to be enjoyed on its own. — 8 years ago
Smooth crisp and fruity. Pear drops. Loved it. Had with rowan and hannah — 3 years ago
A really drinkable Puglian! — 4 years ago
Caorunn is crafted in a whisky distillery – Scotland’s Speyside’s Balmenach – one of the first distilleries to be licensed in the production of Scotch whisky in 1824.
Caorunn has 11 botanicals. The main five Celtic ingredients – rowan berry, bog myrtle, heather, coul blush apple and dandelion leaf. These five main botanicals enhance the remaining six traditional botanicals. This special mix of botanicals results in a crisp well balanced dry gin. Although there are hints of citrus, apple, spice and juniper... the flavors are subtle and smooth. For enjoyable G&T options serve with a garnish of choice. Excellent! — 5 years ago
