Cool, tall bottle with a classy label. Pretty mountain artwork on a black background. Wine is red, red wine colored. Not too dark. Kinda classic Cab color. Smells good. Bit of musk and plenty of wet rocks. Also berry stuff. Flavors are elegant and bright. Has plenty of fruit (black cherry, rhubarb and black berries). A little baked pastry and a hint of bar b que too. This is a nice big wine with some classic Cab Sauv style. — 9 months ago

Nice, simple, fruity, and smooth. I feel it is significantly under-rated by the score above. To me this is a 90-91. It’s not complex but it’s damn good and an utter steal for $9.99 — 8 months ago

Was not familiar with torrintes but this was delightful, perfect for a lazy Sunday afternoon glass (or 3!) — a month ago
Very good with steak. Smells of toffee and dates. Tastes a bit of currant and vanilla. — 2 months ago
CW. A bit tight the first night, a clean and pure representation of torrontes the second night. — 9 months ago

This is a big one, bold, juicy, with real presence of the 16% alcohol despite the age. Nose of blackberry, pine wood, vanilla, band-aid, somewhat musty clothes, and cacao. The age is definitely there in the musk and dustiness, but it’s unclear what to expect with a beast like this. Full bodied, dark purple/red and deep color, but no sense of the age in the color. Palate shows more of the age, deep chocolate notes, overripe plum, driftwood, slate and some malo-like milky elements. The alcohol is definitely there, with a finish like menthol, softened but present, well integrated tannins, with those Chico-raspberry like hints lingering for a long time into a finish that’s round and somewhat meaty. Weirdly, VERY strangely, tastes a little bit like skin. — 19 days ago
