14.5% ABV Wow very good place right now. Look at the end of that cork, dark thick layer of crystals. Very enjoyable. Dark red color, plum. — 3 years ago

Delicious fruity zin that’s holding up beautifully. A bit of oxidation although no pronounced off aroma or palette. Remarkable how this rich ripe wine has consistently delivered fruit and supple tannins after 10+ years. Tribute to Mr. Scherrer. — 3 years ago
Earthy and leather notes. Dark berries. Slightly tannic and a smooth lingering finish. — 4 years ago

Pale straw without a hint of brick. Carmelized pear and vanilla on the nose, no alcohol despite a whopping 14.5 ABV. Delicious vanilla apple and pear with a bit of butterscotch on the palate. Holding quite well despite 6 or 7 years in the bottle. Drink now or hold a few more years. — a month ago
