This is just an unbelievable Orange wine with so much depth and complexity. It has this almost confusing fruit-forward start that quickly gets overtaken by minerality, earthiness, funk, and bright acidity. Beautiful color, awesome bottle, and just really fun to drink. Needed to warm up a bit but once open was wonderful. Slightly cloudy unfiltered appearance, toasty orchard fruit with a bit of lemon and tarragon. Learned later that Morillon = Chard but totally different from a white burg or Cali chard or anything else really — 8 years ago
