Rossonoah Costa della Sesia Rosso 2024

Made from 50% Nebbiolo, 40% Croatina, and 10% Vespolina. Light bodied with high acidity. This is a tasty red blend from Alto Piemonte. Cherry and strawberry flavors come through initially on the palate, followed by orange zest, slight hints of cinnamon and bay leaf, and a strong mineral backbone. Tasty, persistent finish. The fruit flavors are exuberant and really dominate initially. Over time the other flavors come out a bit more. This is the 2024 vintage. — 11 days ago

Hyväntuoksuinen ja maukas viini. Sopii varmasti monen ruuan kanssa. Vahva maku, joka on maukas ja hienostunut.

Il Rosso Dell'Umbria 2018

This one took an hour or so to open up, but once it did it was amazing! Baking spices and dark fruit on the nose and palate. The varietal composition for this wine seems to vary by vintage, but this '18 was all merlot. Funny, this bottle was a substitution for a different one that ended up being out of stock. I think I enjoyed this one more than I would have enjoyed my first choice! 100% Merlot. 2/5/23. — 3 years ago
