Soft and rotund. Very little acidity to talk about. Surprisingly mediocre. — 4 months ago
2008 vintage. Had never come across the "Little Hill" until today. Light-medium body. Decanted and was fairly musty for 2-3 minutes before it started to blossom. Some blue fruit/menthol/eucalyptus throughout the experience. Demonstrative spice component on the back end. Could really only ding this on being slightly "watery" on the front palate. Otherwise, this is kicking now and has plenty of life and love to give. 5.27.23 — 2 years ago
Full-bodied and delicious! While there’s a little alcohol at the finish, this is wonderful. — a month ago
Polished, sure, but maybe a little too polished. The cherries are ripe, the spice is there, and it’s as smooth as it wants to be. It’s good, don’t get me wrong, but it plays it safe—like the wine equivalent of a well-done cover song. Good with roasted duck. — 4 months ago
Blackberry, earthy nose. Dark red color.
Medium body.
Blackberry, cherry, and baking spice flavors.
Very good, a little young at the moment.

At first a little too fruity but then mellowed out — 7 months ago

Outstanding example of how a little age on the right wine can pay dividends. Seven years ago this wine was very good but hard to distinguish from other Kosta Brown vineyards. Today it has acquired charter comparable to a fine burgundy. Very pleased! — 8 days ago
