Champagne and Lobster for lunch?
Light yellow in color with a golden tint, and a nice nose.
Medium bodied with high acidity.
Dry on the palate with nice complexity.
Showing green apples, citrus, light grapefruits, light earth, minerals, yeast, limes, light brioche, spices and white pepper.
Nice finish with limes and light almonds.
This 19 year old vintage Champagne is delicious. Nicely balanced and elegant. Tangy and interesting.
Good by itself right out of the bottle, but better after 60 Minutes of air time.
Still young and needs a few years in the bottle to mature properly. Would be nice to try it again in 5 to 10 years.
Robert Parker 95 points.
Good with food too. I paired it with barbecued lobster.
A blend of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. Aged for 15 years in the winery.
12.5% alcohol by volume.

This wine is dry, has a pale yellow tint and smells like lemons, flowers and just a hint of oak. It is a beautiful bouquet. The palate shows more citrus along with peaches and nectarines. There is a bit of orange zest on the finish, which is rather lengthy. The acidity is as fresh as you need for mussels or other shellfish. I used it in a mushroom broth - like you would make for mussels, but without them - and my wife raved about it. — 4 years ago
Deep golden in color, with a yellow tint.
On the nose citrus, limes, yellow apples, spices, light oak, vanilla and black pepper.
Medium bodied with medium plus acidity and long fat legs.
Dry on the palate with limes, grapefruits, citrus, red apples, pears, light vegetables, spices, oak, light vanilla, light herbs and black pepper.
Tangy finish with bitter almonds.
This is a nice Oaky Chardonnay from Sonoma County. Rich and fierce, yet elegant. Tangy, spicy and interesting.
Needs 30 minutes to open up properly and relax. Good by itself as a sipping wine, or with food. Spicy with nice complexity. The high alcohol is not noticeable, so you better watch out.
This 4 year old Single Vineyard still feels fresh and young, and will continue to age nicely in the next 5 to 7 years.

Deep dark berry port on the nose, brown tint implying age, pretty delicious and elegant, but maybe a bit too much alcohol. — 7 years ago
This wine has a lovely golden tint. Aromas of apricot, apple, pear and a very light citrus note appear in the nose. The flavors are fairly remarkable, especially for a $7 wine. Tropical notes, peach, pear and lemon-lime come forward, along with a hint of sweet oak. The acidity is zippy enough to carry a salad, seafood dish or light pasta meal. The wine finishes long and full. It is definitely a bargain wine, one reminiscent of old-line Chardonnay. — 2 years ago
Heel soepel wijntje met een lichte tint van peer. — 4 years ago
First time with this varietal from Manchuela. Has a slight grey lemon tint that reminds me of some Alsatian Pinot Blancs, with a thicker mouthfeel like them. Lemon curd, Meyer lemons & I dare say a Burgundian feel, if not rather course. Drank in two halves, with plenty of air second time, which really benefited it. Very enjoyable, & for 17-19$, it’s a goddamn bargain — 4 years ago
Look: light w/ minor green tint
Nose: Lemon, vegetal, orange
Taste: sweet, gentle and playful acid, round tannins, gentle alcohol, lemon comes through fully, other hints of citrus.
Maybe too citrusy, but a really outstanding wine for the price

Inaugural vintage, 2009. Menthol, eucalyptus upon immediate opening. I expected more of a brick rimmed tint, but still holding color. On the nose: light fruits, dusty minerality. On the tongue: vanilla, smoke, oak, slight cherry, some blueberry and sweet plum. Really evolves after being open for +1-2 hours. — 6 years ago
Pretty golden color with a yellow tint.
Great nose of grapefruits, spices, carmel and white pepper.
Light-bodied and engaging.
Dry on the palate with grapefruits, spices, honey, butterscotch and caramel.
Long and tangy finish, without any bitterness. So delicious.
Complex and interesting, with a touch of a young Sauvignon Blanc taste.
Needs 30 minutes to open up properly and needs to be very chilled.
This 23 year old Sauvignon Blanc from the Loire is crisp and refreshing, but not as crisp as a young Sauvignon Blanc from this region.
I always enjoy tasting a small piece of history.

Very enjoyable with dark fruits and some earthiness. Nice long and smooth finish. Only issue was color which showed some brownish tint, so thinking drink up. — 2 years ago
Light yellow color with slight greenish tint; elegant mineral-laden nose of yellow grapefruit, unripe pear and pineapple, and hints of nettles and gooseberry; salty, fruity, and dry and grassy, and with a medium-long salty/spicy finish. Enjoyable with shrimp pasta. — 3 years ago
2021/8. Lots of deep fruit, with a dark tint for Barolo - tarry earth and a bit of truffle too. Lots of structure showing at this stage - this is perhaps entering a sterner middle age. — 5 years ago
The 2017 Aatto has a medium-dark garnet color with a slight brownish tint. It pours up looking older than its four years. The nose carries a strongly perfumed floral note as its banner - lilacs and oleanders come to mind. Beneath that, dark fruit - currant, blackberry, plum - rise above the flowerbed. Sweet spice - vanilla and cinnamon - play a minor role. On the palate, it is a youthful show of the fruit that demands attention. Tannins are firm and finely honed, and the acidity provides a lip-smacking delight. This is a wine I would like to have with a pork chop or rosemary ham, but it could also handle beefy dishes. — 5 years ago
Probably 2nd favorite (next to Pongranz) for approachable sparkling SA Wines. Slightly rose tint brings a bit of fruit but not sweet at all. — 8 years ago

Slight yellow tint with an aroma explosion of jasmine, grapefruit, passion fruit, and lime. Slightest tartness. Really nice SB. — a year ago
