Lemon and nectar, smooth, easy to drink, paired well with a fresh salad and garlic chicken. — 4 months ago
Oak and berries on the nose. Raspberry, cherry, cinnamon / pepper on the palette. Very dry and full of tannin. Would pair well with creamy / cheesy pasta. — a month ago
Mineral lean. Almost thin. But delicious concrete and flint. Last year for this vintage I think — 4 months ago

Opened and decanted two hours prior to service; enjoyed over the course of a couple hours. The 1997 “Vigneto Brich Ronchi” pours a deep, hazy garnet color with an opaque core; medium+ viscosity with no staining of the tears and some signs of sediment. On the nose, the wine is vinous with notes of ripe and desiccated black and red fruits: Blackberry, Morello cherry, bruised strawberry, dried roses, tar, leather, potting soil, and subtle warm spices. On the palate, the wine is dry with high tannin and medium+ acid. The finish is long and savory. This is in a lovely spot. Drink now through 2027. — 2 months ago

Dark straw gold color. Aromas and flavors of red and green apples, pears, white flowers, raw nuts, lemon curd and wet slate. Long and lasting slightly salty and mineral laden finish. Viscous/creamy texture and very fruit forward. Medium body and medium-plus fresh acidity. — 3 days ago
