Very nice (haha, get it?). Seriously a beautiful wine all around but at $30/bottle you get what you pay for. Opaque purple color. Black cherry, chocolate, peppercorn, vanilla, and a hint of spruce tips on the nose. Cinnamon and strawberry taste, super complex. FULL bodied with an acidic bite underneath. Deep ruby coloration to the edge. On the nose, nice fruit, cranberry, blueberry, strawberry, and cherry. Some oak and vanilla. On the palate, full body, light fruit mirroring the nose with strong currant and ripe plum. Mild tannins and mild + acidity. $20 at total wine. Good value. — 2 years ago
