Montubert Dolcetto d'Alba 2021

Big structure, this needs further aging to soften, but quite a contrast with the Ca’Viola and its ripe, sweet fruit, this is a Cabernet lover’s Dolcetto!! — 6 months ago

Serracapelli Barbaresco Nebbiolo 2013

Lyle Fass
9.4

Super expressive nose of chestnut, mid season cherries that are ripe and super juicy. Some tar, some florals and terrific lift. Intense and deep nose. Palate is so perfect. Juicy and compact with perfect balance and stunning Nebbiolo sweetness. Velvety and sweet tannins. Long. Drinking so well now. Lots of spices in the midpalate and the finish. Incredible tannins. — 2 years ago

Amarone della Valpolicella Corvina Blend 2015

So I put this one up for a few years. After 10 years, the cork broke on removal. But I was able to get the rest out with little incident thanks to YouTube. The wine poured a beautiful blood red. The flavors were deep and jammy of dried fruits like other reviewers have mentioned. It is dry with a modest finish. It went perfectly with the farfalle arrabiata we made.I think this was only $20 at Trader Joe’s. I will be stocking up. #traderjoes #traderguissepe #italian #italianredwine #amarone — 3 months ago

@Ken Z Josephine no question. Especially for red. Josephine is actually made by zalto but I much prefer that line…

I thought it was a new venture from the previous owner of zalto to break away from the family business and do his own thing. I generally find I prefer my zalto glasses over my Reidel ones, but only around 80% of the time, and almost never for specific varietals (sangiovese). Just curious on your experience.

I learn something every day! I find the Josephine 3 brings Pinot to a place no other glass can. It’s wonderful. Also available on Amazon which makes it easy to find
