Super expressive nose of chestnut, mid season cherries that are ripe and super juicy. Some tar, some florals and terrific lift. Intense and deep nose. Palate is so perfect. Juicy and compact with perfect balance and stunning Nebbiolo sweetness. Velvety and sweet tannins. Long. Drinking so well now. Lots of spices in the midpalate and the finish. Incredible tannins. — 3 years ago
Just a hint of skin funk. Med plus. Very drinkable — 4 years ago
Cecilia monte Barbaresco dedicato a paolo
Nose is early season cherry. Spice.
Palate is so elegant. More burgundy than Langhe. Super fresh cherry. Elegant to the max. Wow
As this opens. More sweet fruit. Still laser-like. Such focus. GEnius.

So I put this one up for a few years. After 10 years, the cork broke on removal. But I was able to get the rest out with little incident thanks to YouTube. The wine poured a beautiful blood red. The flavors were deep and jammy of dried fruits like other reviewers have mentioned. It is dry with a modest finish. It went perfectly with the farfalle arrabiata we made.I think this was only $20 at Trader Joe’s. I will be stocking up. #traderjoes #traderguissepe #italian #italianredwine #amarone — 6 months ago

Thrillingly fun. Orange tinge on the rosé. — 3 years ago
Nice barbera. At first I thought it might be a bit corked but with a bit of air it comes together. Pretty deep and full, with some viscosity from the alcohol. Quite earthy on the finish with good acid. For some reason didn’t quite sing as much as the same bottle a bit over a year ago. — 4 years ago
