Our “House White” simply Chameleon for white meat, fish or seafood cuisine. A great value, refreshing without food and consistently a thirst quencher. White flowers scents, front of citrus fruits, light olive oil viscosity and finishes with fresh pear tartness. This puts a capital “W” on Wino! 🥂 — 8 years ago
Pełne, skoncentrowane męskie wino. Warto dać mu pooddychać godzinę po otwarciu butelki. — 9 years ago
Domaine de Bel Air
2014 Pouilly Fumé
White Loire Wine
Spearheaded by minerals with plenty of acid on the core backed up by apricot and lemon with a whisper of basil and black pepper on the finish. This French Sauv is both full bodied and lively.
Cannabis pairing:
This wine loves the greenery that cannabis brings. I licked my finger after breaking up a fresh Lemon Haze flower and during the subsequent sip of wine it took off on my pallet. Contrary to what I'd anticipated this wines robust acidity and full body did not pair well with a water extraction. It loves all the Limonene but did not benefit from the extra funkiness that the heavier smoke brings. Perfect for a lighter extraction which highlights all this nice sweet herbasciousness. The vaporizer brings out notes of lemon balm, lemon verbena and bubblegum.
Resiliency: 7/10
Affordability: 8/10
Cannabis Pairability: 9/10
Dopeness: 8/10

#2006 #ScreamingEagle My 1st time tasting this #CultWine & I think it's appropriately named. #Screaming with... Alcohol, Tannins, black & blue fruit, cassis & oak... As if the Eagle swooped down and knocked you over to grab the bottle from your hands. Dark Black/Purple in color. Smokey, brooding, intense. Tobacco, coffee, A definite Food Wine. Not to be taken lightly or sipped on its own. A powerhouse that would benefit from many, many more years in the cellar. Exciting & dangerous like an Eagle... Not for the timid of heart. Don't mess with this chick... She'll take you down! Definitely benefits from decanting. In #2006 #SexyBack by #JustinTimberlake is tipping the charts along with #YoureBeautiful by #JamesBlunt as is #GoldDigger by #KanyeWest & #JamieFoxx .... And I must say... You may need to be a Gold Digger in order to get your hands on this bottle of wine! ;). #Cheers #HappyMonday #ThinkWhileYouDrink #Wino 🍷😎 — 10 years ago
Jak na Dolcetto zaskakująca głębia, wino krągłe, zrównoważone, z nutami czerwonych owoców jak wiśnia, ale też borówka. — 2 years ago

Typical. Drinkin that gamay again. What's new? Aside from a 3 month sabbatical from vino land/return to wino world and a move across the country, not a whole lot! — 9 years ago
A snowy hot tub with Mrs Wino, dark chocolates late, and Tawny Port. What a good way to end the day. I was almost in the tub before the last family car left the driveway. Orange in color. Trump orange? Full fruits nose and a long finish. As always paired great with chocolate. The darker the better. Put a good dent in this bottle but will be a good excuse for hot tub round two. Bring it on snow!! — 9 years ago

Dedicating this review to @lawyerdrummer on Instagram who’s on tour away from his kids & just dedicated his first Clos Mogador to me on Vivino “Rock and Roll Wino” 🤗
.
Latest vintage of one of my favourite Priorats we grabbed in 🇪🇸 for €69 (£74 in 🇬🇧) & it’s sure loaded with potential 😉 Good but give 5-10 years & it’s a 😈 that will reward big time 😍 I still think the 2013 has an edge 😎 the 2015 needs more time for minerality to ease 👍 opens to a typical choc cherry gateaux 😋
📍 Clos Mogador 2015

I was looking for an off the beaten path #pinotnoir from a quality boutique producer and I found just that. 2013 Lucie Pinot Noir from @bacigalupivnds made by one of my favorite producers Kirk Venge (shout out to @vengevineyards ). Delicate cherries and red fruits with notes of earth followed by oak and spice with a creamy velvety finish. 17 months in barrel, sadly only 135 cases produced. You're not 40 every day and I wanted a special wine to celebrate that special day. Fortunately the wine bar / open kitchen restaurant we went to had that special wine, amongst 400 references, that I had been desperate to taste for a long while. I didn't take notes so it's all from memory, but the nose is what I liked the most. Coconut notes, leather, cherries, coffee... I spent probably 15 minutes in total smelling that wine. The palate was great with some acid drive, some matter but not in an overwhelming way, some gentle, well integrated tannins in the rear, before a long finish with savoury notes, red fruits, coconut and that gentle grainy tannic layer. A great experience to top up a day to remember.
Oh and if you happen to be in Warsaw, Poland and be looking for a great wine place, make sure to check out Kontakt - wino & bistro. — 2 years ago
