Brown ale brown tinged with red amber. Cream soda colored topping. Orange amber after the cloud break. Chunky casserole or ground beef in cartoon contrast lacing turns to logo eye dot and eyebrow. Owl last gasp and finally Punch’s nose shape. Rich scents of sassafras and nutmeg, cinnamon and allspice, sweet coffee and sweet roll. All of the aforementioned meld wonderfully on the palate, with a resonant mouth coat. This is great this year!! Excellent work. Captures the pumpkin and the season.

Tea-cola amber with garnet glints. Puffalump head that holds it high. Frayed rigging lacing. Refreshing lemon-ginger open that stays the backbone. Allspice, cinnamon, light brown sugar, nutmeg, mace and clove in just the right measures. It is that time of year for anyone with opposable thumbs! Possums, back feet only, please! I know this increases tripping risk, but I did ask nicely.

Amber waves with egg white colored foam halo. Laced with paisley slippage hippo-crocodile submersions. Lovely clementine nose with candied lemon and grapefruit peels, green strawberries, bruised pineapple, and lime kefir. Lemon on the lips, then smoothie of lime and near-peach, grapefruit and kumquat, yellow mulberry, and lemon cream. Teally good session ipa here! Best of class!

Fat Orange Cat Cautionary Tail Pumpkin Ale. North Haven, CT

Brown and flinty orange body has a coffee with cream head that loosely rises. Drawn and quartered lacing has bubble eyed ghosts and barn owl faces in an appropriate nod. Warm and cozy comfort spices rise from sweet potatoes, maple syrup, brown sugar and butter cauldrons, while spider eyes blink and pop on a wisp of fog as stringy as Spanish moss. The head is gone like the last gasp of an autumn tree, and the gourd ascends. Cinnamon sticks and nutmeg creak in the vestiges of twilight. Only darkness now. Roasted pecan, burnt brown sugar, toffee and treacle, crowned by a full moon scoop of vanilla cream.

Abomination brewing and Hoof Hearted Collab ‘Little Red Riding Hoof’ Triple IPA

Scary good. Thick and opaque gold. Helper shelter lacing. Butterscotch and coffee had a rosemary baby, it turned tropical with baked pineapple and sweet lemon, brown sugar, toffee, and arbor fruit. Strong and mouth-coating. Excellent, and I need more!

State of Brewing Scottish ale. Aldi advent beer.
Auburn, red-brown amber. Cream colored head echoes creamy wash of lacing that breaks to chicken bone divination and ant-farm spelunking, and finally to Keith Haring tic-tacs until cobwebs. Malty notes poke through earthy hole of coffee, mocha, and shaved dark chocolate with clove and nutmeg and black mushroom. Coffee emerges strong and all malt lies buried, but it is cold brew, medium body and flatter through creaminess. Lingering arabica.

Sierra Nevada Dank Little Thing hazy ipa
Pear juice colored, merengue top, stalactic, cephalopodic, surfy lacings and potato-eye dimple dinged tracings. Grapefruit tapioca nose with pink grapefruit nodal components. Lime pulped, and definitely holding. Creamier mouthfeel reveals sweet citrus tangelo, but offers hazelnut, and a certain nugginess suggesting cannabinols. The progression is lime, lemon, grapefruit, pomelo, tangelo, and you know.

Privatbrauerei Eichbaum Perfekte Zeit Wheat Pale Ale.

Cloudy amber, apple cider vinegar coloration. Hazy head of off-white cigarette butt with spit bugs eggs to burlap mask dissipation and slug leaf lacing. The nose is a pretzel dough, bierocks and dried lime mix. The palate is sparse with an amputated endurance. Not unpleasant, with bitter bits and snippet suggestions, but not their best offering.

State of Brewing, Wisconsin. Blonde Ale. Aldi advent calendar. Straw-golden with hints of amber. Enormous head fizzles quickly to a scrofulous pittance. Banana bread nose, suggests lemon bread, orange and grapefruit, yeast and corn muffin. Binary lacing at best; insect linguistic anomaly or fish lips of wax meet old flames. Lemongrass and lime zest find commonality in a hyper-mineral, metallic, and zippy coalescence. Golden and gorgeous, but simultaneously austere in a weird way.
