Light garnet color with a slight ruby core. Aromas of red and black berries, violets and mint. Flavors of elderberry, blackberry, roasted nuts and fermented herbs. Long and very earthy finish. Extremely light bodied. Medium acidity and velvety tannins. Solid, but just a bit thin and watery from a textural standpoint. This wine did open up nicely on the second day. Best with food. Memorial Day 2026.
