Cerasuolo di Vittoria Classico Frappato Nero d'Avola

Not very tanin, not very sweet, subdued and fruity with a tart/dry aftertaste. Not my style but can appreciate the complexity and sophistication.

A blend of Frappato and Nero D’Avola. Perfect blend of freshness and earthiness.

Cherries. Red berries. Lead. Cinnamon.
Light.
Had with meatloaf and may have been a bit too light. But it brought out the tomato flavours in a lovely way.

Leather, sorrel, raspberry, acid over tannin

Blend of 60% Nero d’Avola and 40% Frappato, from biodynamically farmed vineyards. Fermented with indigenous yeasts and aged in oak for 12 months. Ruby red. Medium bodied. Fruity, red berries. Bright, juicy, quite delicate, high acidity
