Balmi Bioti Bramaterra Nebbiolo Blend

At 8yro a lovely way to experience aged wine affordably, because it drinks as if older with all soft edges,burnished leather, black cherries, aged balsamic, milk chocolate & dried porcini. Guessing this in its drinking window but these wines surprise me with their longevity.

Drink now or now ish; baby Barolo as they say but the ferocity of tannin completely softened, so a gentle introduction to Nebbiolo, all round edges & smoked dark cherry notes. Lovely, just don’t expect the finish to last too long. Great old alpine nose too.

Super. Bright fruit, balanced acidity, a bit of heft from the blend, long tail. Really a bargain.
