Bernard Magrez
Château Fombrauge Saint-Èmilion Grand Cru Red Bordeaux Blend
St. Émilion, Libournais, Bordeaux, FranceI get that petrol element here, which I like. It’s pretty tight even after some time open. But it still seems watery. 2014. I was hoping for more. Backbone of preemtry red fruit but not fleshed out.

Massively rich and beautifully endowed bottle. It has been showing great since the day it was released and today was no different. Loads of fruit. Soft velvety tannins and a long finish

This is unbelievable especially for the price. It is very ripe and rich but has some lift from all that st emilion limestone. BERNARD magrez know what he is doing. There is not a rough edge to be found here and although this beauty is opulent and wide open today, I suspect it has many years ahead of it. All for around $30 or $40 bucks. Crazy. (Napa richness and bordeaux persistence)
