Murky ruby color with a garnet meniscus. Aromas of ripe black fruit, menthol, dark cocoa powder, violets and a pleasant funk. Flavors of black currants and plums, burnt caramel, dried thyme/sage and anise seed. Long and luxurious finish. Velvety tannins and smooth texture. Perfectly aged in what seems like French Oak. So well crafted. If I were tasting this blind….. I would have thought I was drinking a Bordeaux. Thanks Kase and Pete for sharing this incredible bottle. Revisited in March 2026. Stellar!
