Bodegas Muga
Rioja Tempranillo Rosé Blend
La Rioja, Spain
Mainly Garnacha. Fermented in oak but doesn’t read as such. Nice but nothing unusual.

Pomegranate, hibiscus, and crush gravel on the nose. Very smooth & round pallate likely due to the neutral oak aging with a nice mix of fruit, pomegranate & lime zest and tertiary flavors of hazelnut & slate on the finish. Paired quite well with carnita enchiladas! [10/4/20]

That Bandol salmon colored rosé. Solid but nothing special.

We both really liked it, especially Z.

Tastes like I'm a teenager drinking before a night out. Strong no.

Creamy but not cloying with a strawberries and creams and summer pudding smell. Enough acidity to cut through and to drink on its own
