Medium ruby in color with a garnet rim; on the nose, it's clean with pronounced primary, and tertiary aromas of dried figs, cedar, and sour cherry; on the palate, it's dry with high acidity, high tannins, medium alcohol, full body, and pronounced primary and secondary flavors of strawberry sauce, red currants, and wet gravel with a long finish. This wine is past its prime. The fruit was completely gone after about 20 minutes. I bet it was a great wine a few years ago.

Slow to open up but eventual muted red fruits , earth and vanilla. Savory palate with dried fruit. Bitter dusty notes and a bit askew.
