Andrew Cullimore

Slightly less bright appearance , medium ruby core , wider ruby rim . Slightly more herbal in character , darker fruits perhaps . Cassis , dried herbs , grafite , cedar, seaside hints. Slightly more austere too . On the palate this has a little more dark fruit than expected , with darker cherry , cassis, dried herbs and a slight medicinal , black tea, anis tinge . Slightly more edgy , grippy tannins and good acidity, not perhaps as fresh as the 2021 . Pretty good depth and intensity too . Good mineral , grafite tinged finish . Slightly more advanced in comparison to the 2021 . This also needs time , quite austere in character with more grippy tannins . Will continue to improve over the 5 years and last well a further 10.
