Medium ruby , touch of garnet medium wide garnet /pink rim . Ripe blackcurrant , blackberry , touch of tobacco and cigar box. Quite generous in the palate with sweet dark fruits , well balanced fresh acidity . Quite gritty tannin, grafite tinged finish . Drinking well , though will still improve over the next 5-10 years and last a further 10 . Not complex but enjoyable .

Friends brought this one last night. Really a treat to taste. Super expressive nose. It didn’t take long to open up in the glass. Full bodied. Still some fruit left but was getting a bit of damp earth. The wine is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot. Really nice. @55Seventy
