2022 Vintage - very dark in color, this was 100% - Syrah , honestly I was thinking this was more of GSM or Grenache anchored wine - not so and for me at least disappointing black olives, boysenberry fruit, big tannins, medium acidity,

Classic French label with a little brick chapel in pen and ink on the front. 14.5% alcohol. Quite dark color. Looks like blood. Very slate and wet rocks aroma. Hint of cedar or the like. Just a bit of berry. The flavors are classic Syrah based Côtes. Cassis, leather, pine needles, black cherry cola. Has a tannic bite in the mouth. Very dry. Linger of licorice. This is a great bottle of French red for around $15. For the Syrah focused Rhone Ranger.

Well, New favor fruity on the front end semi dry on the fish. Nice dark purple color definitely buy again.
