Restrained and classic. Great depth but very wound up at the moment. Needs 10-15 years before revisiting. Tannins very firm, but this should go the distance. Great reflection of the finesse that can be shown in 2009, rather than pushing too far on ripeness.

Blend of Cabernet Sauvignon (47%), Merlot (47%) and Cabernet Franc (6%). Dark ruby color with a few purple highlights. Savory aromas of burnt wood, asphalt, black fruit, smoky oak and purple flowers. Flavors of cooked blue and black berries, espresso, mushrooms, cassis and oolong tea. Long and smoky finish. Nicely balanced and extremely concentrated. Smooth tannins and quite the powerhouse. Dec 6th, 2025Just at its peak. Equal parts Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot with just a touch of Cabernet Franc. Concentrated and dried cherry, blueberry and prune aromas with hints of mushroom, Forrest Floor and purple flowers. Same fruits on the pallet with a beautiful viscous texture and a touch of smoke on the finish. Dense and Full! What a treat! Thanks Kasey and Pete!
