On the nose, the wine is developing with notes of honey, dried apricots, marmalade, marzipan, and candied nuts. On the palate, the wine is sweet with medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose along with some tropical fruits: passion fruit and pineapple. The finish is long and decadent. Unctuous and a lovely way to capstone a meal. Drink now through 2053+

Fantastic wine. WS 97 a few years back and only getting better. Semi sweet like smoky sugary velvet with a tinge of apricot and fig. Pure ambrosia. Goes well with a good Stilton and salty cracker and dark chocolate.
