Surprisingly fresh, enticing, blackberries, dark plums, a bit of cedarwood, some green peppers, but also some creaminess & smoky character.
On the palate this is very savoury, peppery, leathery with a nice grippy tannic structure and mellowed fruit (plums!) & softened acidity.
This has evolved very nicely and is actually drinking really nicely right now.
