The wine of most interest to me in the Bordeaux masterclass. Savoury nose sporting notes like tomato leaves, bell pepper, clove, forest floor, cassis, and some oak toast. Full-bodied with sweet plush fruits and graphite notes, along with high, fine, and directional tannins. Enjoyed the complexity here and that the oak richness was in check, but it was still a tough glass to finish.

Discovered this OLD white Bordeaux. To say the least, I was concerned. Well to my surprise, it was delightful. Full bodied, and a full (somewhat muddled) ‘very pleasant, at times sweet, somewhat like pineapple.

Ясное вино, золотого цвета. Интенсивная ароматика сладких цветов, нектарин, пряности, дыня. Во вкусе ярко выражен бисквит, мармелад, ваниль. Это то, что нужно попробовать!

Aromas of passion fruit, lime, "pipi de chat" and mint, nuances of petrol and rubber.
In taste passion fruit, dried apples, lemon twist, grass, pear, lichee, pitch.
Ready for drink, will progress in future.

First tasted in a vertical at the chateau back in 2012. Clearly excellent vintage and I bought six bottles. Tasted in February 2015 and happily slow evolution, exhibiting light and clear lemon color. Clean lime, chamomile, floral aromas. Pronounced flavors include lime, stone fruit, a touch of smoky aspects. High acidity. Rather creamy texture. Lingering finish. 2010 is great for white Graves. Bravo to Latour-Martillac! #winelover #Bordeaux #Graves
