The nose is a tapestry of ripe plum, cedar, and smoky graphite, with a vivid burst of crème de cassis and violets. The palate is plush and sleek, offering concentrated blackberry and earthy notes framed by suave tannins. Finish is long and savoury.
Purchased at around $40. What a value! — 17 days ago
Sadly, this bottle of 2010 Latour was found in my cellar far too long after its prime. Although it still had some fruit, it was covered up by the oxidation and was gaining tertiary aromas that were not beneficial. I’m rating it higher though, because the age of the wine is not the producers fault. This wine she be drunk young or up to a couple of years after release. Having visited this village in Bourgogne, I can tell you that the Chardonnay coming from here is perhaps the best in the world. I only wish I had opened this bottle in its prime. — 2 months ago
Atherton Wine Imports 2026 tasting at République, Los Angeles. 2023 vintage. Medium body. Showing both tastefully and gracefully from the get-go. Excellent candidate for a decade plus of aging should you decide to take that offramp. Slightly underpriced currently relative to the white burgundy pricing of the last 1.5 years. Built to last. 3.18.26. — 4 days ago

+2 hour decant(decent sediment). A marvelous dark magenta color. On the nose: perfumed red fruit, potting soil, graphite, cedar lined cigar box, herbaceous. Taste: Powerful, structured wine with red fruit, currants, planting soil, spice, and a cedar-minerally-mocha lingering and evolving finish! YUM! — 6 days ago
