Beautiful garnet/ruby red. Aroma very herbal with notes of Thyme, fennel, and tarragon. Kiss of wild berry and light smoke underneath maybe some wet stone underneath. Moderate to full body, tannic as well and needs the acidity of the food to balance out its heaviness. I loved it, hubby says it needs food. Paired insanely well with rosemary chicken, brought out all the herbal and smokey notes.
