Dark ruby color. Aromas of black fruit, wet soil, cedar smoke and baking spices. Flavors of black cherry/currant/plum fruit, black pepper, menthol, tobacco, black tea and fresh and dried herbs. A bit of smoky vanilla on the long and lingering finish. Good balance. Medium-plus body, savory and quite rich. Bold and has aged nicely.
