I found this bottle to be pretty one-dimensional; absolutely loaded with black pepper and while a fairly serviceable food wine, not near as long on delivery as other C-H from other producers for similar money

Black pepper! Blueberry and cassis up front, with some notes of violet. Long tannic, yet juicy finish. Full and meaty Syrah.
