This took a good hour to open, but was really great once it was ready. Plenty of dark fruit left 11 years after harvest - blackberry, plum. Notes of leather, rosemary. Wonderful structure still intact

Dark fruit in the nose with blackberries and leather in the palate. Caramella cheese mellowed it a bit. Had the 2015 in 2024, but tannins were still prominent, so some decanting would be beneficial.
