Lovely sweet Grenache based fruit in an excellent vintage. Sweetness is the over riding palate descriptor reflective of the ripe vintage - red currant. A long persistent flavour profile. Telegramme is the second wine of Domaine du Vieux Telegraphe.

This wine will never let you down. Year after year, just purely exceptional. In human terms, it’s the friend that will pick you up at the airport when you are stranded.

Meh, it was kinda all there but nothing stood out. There was chocolate, dark fig, spice but all a bit blended together. Perhaps the acidity was too low to be more expressive.

🍇Grenache 80%, Syrah 10%, Mourvèdre 6%, Cinsault 4%.

🍷Tasted in a restaurant right after opening with Vietnamese-Style beef.

The nose is gorgeous and express itself very easily, aromas of red fruits and blueberry with garrigue note and a hint of fresh smokiness. The structure is well balanced between great acidity and precise, smooth tannins. Finish is on deep red fruits. Safe bet! 👌🏻
