Slow ox for 3 hours. Deep ruby, still ruby edges. The pronounced nose was loaded with spices, olives, smoke, smoked meat, anise, clove, peppercorns, mostly tertiary dark red fruits, dried crushed violets. The palate was med+ bodied, medium grain tannin were a tad chewy and grainy, an intense but elegantly persistent palate. A long, spicy finish showed subtle fruit with the tannins showing a touch grainy/chewy and not as integrated here. Still a beauty, though not sure the tannin will resolve at this point.

Willi’s Wine Bar in Paris. Deep dark ruby. Opaque and not showing much age in the glass. Knock out nose. Notes of dark fruit and blueberries, slate stone, pepper/spice and some floral thing. Very rich in the mouth. Silky. Long finish. Syrah at its best. Really liked this.

Like it's own name, jammy. Really drinking well and TONS of time left.

Stunning, varietally visible and perfectly mature, with bay leaves, cracked black peppers, cloves, red and black fruits, all on the same ballpark. Very pretty in its feminine appearance, this is truly sexy stuff.
