This is very good but not as good as the 14 lechet or the 15 montmains from the critically hated vintage. Go figure. It’s very good and perfectly balanced. But it lacks the density of the 14 Lechet. Still a eellnmade wine and a lovely drink with scallops.

After an hour this has this almost sweet tartness. Lovely. And the internal aromatics are very good. Lingering acidity. Still a notch below the other two wines but very good and Fabian worthy.

25 years younger than the 1989 Chapelot 1er Cru from Raveneau that we also opened, this 1er Cru is also brilliant, currently distinctly showing lemon and mineral/soil aromas and flavors, a touch of maturity but then the bracing acidity reminds me this definitely will evolve further, I was lucky to get a large slug of these 2014s, and they continue to impress, lingering finish, will cellar further!! This just might be an aged white wine I could even convince @Tom Casagrande of drinking at this age?!?!?! 🤔🤷😎

Very different than the 2014 Cote de Lechet, this seems much more youthful and currently a little disjointed, with youthful primary lemon aromas and flavors, lovely acidity, medium-long finish, but lacking the amazing depth and complexity of the Cote de Lechet, very good!

More mineral and stoney, less lemon and more evolved than the Fourchaume, nicely balanced, this seems like it’ll need another 3-5 years at least,
